1962 Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider Ghia

Chassis number: AR191002

When the Alfa Romeo 2000 was replaced by the six-cylinder 2600, Alfa Romeo entrusted Ghia with creating a Spider model. The prototype was designed by Sergio Sartorelli, using sleek, ultra-modern lines. At the same time, an alternative body by Touring was also in the making. This developed the classic, traditional lines of the old 2000 Spider and was the version ultimately chosen by Alfa Romeo for production.
